International Women's Olympics

The International Olympic Committee (IOC)didn't promot women in sports in an effort to increase participation in the games as well recognition of the well being of women and girls in sports at all levels of sports and different structures within sports. This is consistent with the Olympic charter which promotes equality within sports of men and women by including both genders in these competitions. The IOC as well as the International Federations (IFS) and National Olympic Committees (NOCs) have been committed to the mandates of this Olympic charter. Multiple measures have been taken toward increasing the participation of women at governing and administrative levels as well as training and education toward women in sport and the supporting administrative structures. Since 1991, all new sports asking to be included in the Olympic program must feature women’s events. The 2012 Olympic Games in London were the first Olympics in which women competed in all sports in the program. The 2012 Olympic Games in London were the first Olympics where every participating country included female athletes. They were also the first Olympics in which women competed in all sports in the programs.

    About INDIAN WOMEN OLYMPIC ASSOCIATION
“Indian Women Olympic Association” observed that Indian women have the talent and caliber to do best in sports & games but due to lack of genuine guidance, proper facilities and environment of sports they are unable to achieve more at national and international level. They can do amazing in sports if we will provide them a right path and platform. Governments in different countries are trying to motivate women to come forward to make their society strong and exemplary in all areas. But though more efforts are required in the field of Women Participation in Sports & Games. Many organizations in India are formed for women but very less are there to motivate women to take part in sports.
So “Indian Women Olympic Association” has been founded by Mr. Sandeep and Mr. Naresh Malik to do the work for gender equality in sports. We are bound to make our best efforts to motivate women for sports participation and provide them a huge platform of sports from the grass rout level to the international level.
To make our dream true we invite the entire social, educational and sports organizations to come forward to shake their hand with us for the betterment of women sports and to work on “A step towards gender equality in sports” by the “Indian Women Olympic Association” & "Women Olympic Association West Bengal" (Kanyashree Project)
